The Wealth45 Small-cap Equity Strategy invests in a relatively small number of companies, primarily based in the United States, that we believe will outperform the broader market. Investments may include companies across the market capitalization spectrum (micro-cap to large cap), but the strategy focuses on companies with smaller market capitalizations.
This strategy is relatively concentrated with only about 25 companies held in the portfolio at any given time. For this reason, we expect the strategy’s performance to vary considerably relative to broadly diversified market benchmarks and exhibit a higher level of volatility.
Stocks are selected based on publicly available information and through the use quantitative equity research from various third-party providers. We expect this strategy to have a high level of turnover compared to index strategies, hence, this strategy is potentially better suited for tax advantaged accounts.
