- Eligibility
  
  All Amazon employees age 18 or older are eligible to join the plan immediately upon their date of hire.

- Employee Contributions
  
  Employees may contribute up to 90% of their annual compensation subject to prescribed annual IRS limits (generally $19,500 in 2020).
- Amazon.com’s Contribution
  
  Amazon will make a matching contribution equal to 50% of your plan contributions; capped annually at 4% of employee’s compensation.
- Vesting
  
  Employee fully vested in Amazon’s contributions after 3 years of service (year = 1,000 hours in a calendar year). You are immediately vested in your own contributions.

- Investment Options
  
  Amazon.com’s 401(k) plan has over 20 different investment options to select from. Plus, the Company Stock Fund (i.e., AMZN shares) is an option for company matching contributions.
